Rick attended his first Hurricanes hockey match since the accident this weekend. Most of you will recall that he had just returned from a Hurricanes game the night of the accident. When ‘Canes fans heard the story, they responded in such numbers that the Hurricanes organization sent Rick a brand new jersey to replace the one he was wearing that night, which was destroyed with so many other things in the explosion and fire.

This jersey, however, was signed by all the members of the team. Thanks again to the Hurricanes. We’re all pretty happy to see him back in the stands.

It was a party of epic proportions, and here’s your proof.

Cindy and Rick wanted to share this group photo so that everyone could download their own personal copy as a keepsake. It’s one way of saying thank you, and they can’t thank you enough for the outpouring of love and support on Oct. 2. Give Rick a Hand was a huge success, thanks to all those who came, donated and purchased items.

We’ll be posting more photos of the big bash, so stay tuned.

The big day is almost here, and we want to make sure you get to the big bash without a problem. The address is 2418 Sunnyside School Rd., Fayetteville, NC 28312. DO NOT use directions from Google! Bing has the best directions. Here’s a map.

Be prepared to do all your Christmas shopping, because we’ve got some great items!

It’s no accident that so many of the items donated to the silent auction have ocean or seaside themes. Here’s another beauty: a fused glass plate made by Carri Owens St. Germain. It measures 12 inches by 6.5 inches and looks great on display. Thanks to David and Carri St. Germain for donating this item.

Do I even have to say it? Tickets, people!
