It’s no accident that so many of the items donated to the silent auction have ocean or seaside themes. Here’s another beauty: a fused glass plate made by Carri Owens St. Germain. It measures 12 inches by 6.5 inches and looks great on display. Thanks to David and Carri St. Germain for donating this item.

Do I even have to say it? Tickets, people!

David Doubilet. He’s captured some of the most iconic images of the undersea world. You’ve seen the photo of a diver framed by a swirling school of fish? That’s Doubilet. He’s shot more than 60 stories for National Geographic and authored 7 books on the sea.

He’s just one of the famous photographers donating prints for the silent auction at Give Rick a Hand. Cindy and Rick know some of the best photographers and videographers in the business, and a host of them are stepping up and donating their gorgeous and valuable work to help Rick get back behind the camera again.

There are so many that we’re putting them in a special display area — it’s going to be like a gallery show of some of the best photojournalists in the business.

Time is running out, so buy your tickets today for the fundraiser people will be talking about for the next 10 years.

The folks at Divers Alert Network have donated a great item to the silent auction for Give Rick a Hand:

A DAN First Aid Backpack with O2. This baby is just loaded with items, including the DAN Dive and Travel Medical Guide, resuscitation mask, medications and tools — first aid to deal with pretty much any emergency that could come up on a dive trip. It’s available to DAN members for $550, and it will be up for grabs at the fundraiser on Sunday.

Just a few days left to buy your ticket. This is an event you don’t want to miss!
